Small mammals known as fennec foxes are indigenous to North Africa’s Sahara Desert. These are the smallest foxes in the Canine family, with large ears and bushy tails.

These foxes have light-colored fur that has been tinted with different tones of tan. They have the biggest ears compared to the size of their bodies of all foxes. In the sweltering desert climate, these long, triangular ears help disperse heat.
